Join Jo, the Woven Owl, to make felted butterflies. Bringing together a variety of brightly dyed and naturally coloured wools, you will wet felt your butterfly around its own little stick body then take your butterfly on its own hanging thread to fly around with you.
A Forest School Leader with many years experience of working with adults and children running craft workshops and holiday clubs. Jo has worked with Sussex Past in reconstructive and experiment archaeology. Jo runs pre-history sessions in schools, teaching and demonstrating outdoor cookery, working in traditional crafts and as a storyteller. Jo realised that in her work she weave fabrics and wattle and words, inspiring her name – The Woven Owl.
