Although not a legal requirement, we are requesting that everyone attending Into the Treed, including our audience, artists, vendors, volunteers and crew, to take a Covid-19 rapid lateral flow test within 48 hours before arrival. Every member of your family / group over 11 years of age should take a test regardless of vaccination status.
We won’t request to see proof of a negative test as a condition of entry, but is really important that you take a test and report the results online or via the NHS app. Even if you are fully vaccinated, it is possible to contract the virus and you may also be symptomless.
Please help support the event and reduce the risk for everyone by taking a test before you come to site.
You can order free packs of rapid lateral flow tests to be sent to your home from the Gov.uk website here or pick up a free box from one of thousands of pharmacies – you can find a pharmacy here. And report your result to the NHS online here. When you report the results to the NHS you can get a confirmation of your result sent to you by text or email.
Symptoms & Isolation
If your test returns a positive result, please do not come to the festival. You should self-isolate in line with the latest NHS guidelines and take a PCR test. The quickest way to do this is to visit an NHS test centre. For more information, see the government website here: https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test
If a subsequent PCR test returns negative and you have no Covid symptoms, you may then come to the festival.
If at any point during the ten days prior to the festival, you or a member of your group has tested positive for Covid-19, displayed any recognised symptoms of Covid-19, or been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19, then you or that group member should follow the latest NHS guidelines on self-isolation.
What happens on site?
The festival site is very large for the number of people attending, so there is plenty of room to spread out. Where possible it is still advisable to socially distance and when queuing for food or if sitting inside tented venues, we would still encourage you to wear face masks.
It’d worth noting that the risk of aerosol transmission is very low at an outside event like Into the Trees, but please be cautious, use hand sanitiser and socially distance where possible.
